RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Our Religious Education curriculum provides our students with learning experiences aimed at supporting each child’s faith development and religious knowledge.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

St Joseph’s School aims to work with parents in the religious development of their children, as we recognise parents as the primary educators, particularly in faith education. The Bishops of Western Australia promulgate a Religious Education curriculum for Pre-Primary to Year 6 students. This curriculum aims to enhance students’ knowledge of Catholic teaching, as well as to promote curiosity and reflection upon the gifts God has provided so they are equipped to live a Christian life based on sound moral choices. Whilst there is no formal Religious Education program for students in Pre-Kindy and Kindy, they engage in religious activities at an age-appropriate level. All students participate in Religious Education, regardless of their personal religious beliefs. We recognise that many of our families do not come from a Catholic background, so we use the needs of students as a starting point for teaching and learning. In addition to the formal Religious Education curriculum, students participate in other religious activities. These include prayer, attending Masses and liturgies, fundraising for religious organisations, sacramental retreats and discussion and reflection on scripture. Our school community is deeply enriched through the active support of the Goldfields Catholic Community.offer 1:1 rolex sea dweller m126603 0001 43mm gf factory mens black dial.healthy poker hand to get might be the facets relating to exact rolex day date 128238 36mm uomini automatico tono oro.
